راهبرد، نگاهداشت، مرمت و احیای کتیبه‌ی کوفی و دیوارنگاره‌ی خانه‌ی حسینیان شهر یزد

Abstract: Studies and researches done in many years show that the tradition of wall painting is older than other current arts and in some way can be considered as the father of illustration art. Generally it has religious narrative, decorative aspects or a combination of all of these, and in each period, it appeared in its special style. In Islamic period, apart from the prohibition of portraitism, this art become so strength that we can say, the symbolic figures, like architectural parts, had a role in meanings transition and sometimes go ahead of it. Historical and magnificent buildings of Yazd, beside its other outstanding things were familiarized with this art and somehow design and color and other decorations male outstanding combinations. One of the unique wall paintings in Yazd (even in country) belongs to a building called Hosseinian’ House which related to 8 century according to the architectural evidences. This wall painting is in an almost obsolescent room in one of the upper floors of Hosseinian’s House and shows the picture of a hunting bird which is hunting another bird and an inscription in Kufic script whit Persian content. This wall painting can be seen all around this room which increases the unique characteristic of this building. Available historical and comparative researches and studies on this building and also other historical and architectural evidence show that this building belongs to some years before 8 century (perhaps Atabakan period). We get interesting important results from documentation, sampling, chemical experiments and machines such as SEM and ERD for recognition of quantitative and qualitative elements and the technology of wall painting and inscription and also microscope studies. These results specify special characteristic and difference of this building comparing to other wall paintings and historical inscriptions of Yazd. This building is damaged a lot because it has been unknown for a long time and also because of damaging factors such as dampness and biologic factors, especially termite which are among the main causes. In this research, in addition to introducing this unique building from historical and structural point of view, it is tried to find ways protecting and maintenance of it.
